Back to school is an exciting time for some, but it can also be a worrisome time for others. Some will be starting school for the first time this fall, either anxiously awaiting the first day of a new adventure or fighting off the dread of the unknown. Some returning to school might be excited to see their friends again and learn new things, but others might feel anxious about what the year will bring.
Whether your kiddos are excited to go back to school or not, books can help sort through and deal with big emotions. Below, we have a list of books for those entering preschool, all the way through middle school. For a more extensive list, check out our online catalog here. We hope each child returning to school or starting school this fall has a wonderful year!
Also, don’t forget that a library card can be the perfect addition to your back-to-school list. Best part about a library card? They are FREE! We just need a photo ID and proof of current address to issue a library card and unlock a world of endless possibilities.
